MAKE-UP!

I am obsessed with make-up.

I haven’t talked about it on my blog, yet, because when I first started this blog I thought that that part of my life was long over.

But I also started this blog circa mid 2013. When I thought I could embrace minimalism.

Well. We all know how that turned out.

I am a Sephora Black Card member. And not the kind that got it that one time I spent 250 dollars. No, no. I spend enough to get a 10% voucher every single time I buy stuff from Sephora.

Now this is nothing to really brag about, I’m just trying to make a point that I like make-up and that it’s going to be a feature on this blog.

I’m going to start with this photograph of my whole make-up stash. Now I know it’s not a lot, but it’s carefully curated and kick-ass.

If I do say so myself.

I’m not going to do reviews of beauty products because I have already reviewed about half of them over at Makeup Alley – a lot of these are products I used to have and have given/thrown away – and you can follow that link if you want to see my reviews. I also have a running list of more make-up I want to get, I just added a Pinterest board for it so I can keep track of it!

The nice thing about Makeup Alley is that you can search for products based on your skin tone and type so the reviews you read are likely to be better suited to you than something I recommend.

What I’m gonna talk about, over here, on my blog is make-up skin care for oily/acne-prone girls. Believe me I have YEARS of wisdom that you need, make-up resources, face of the day shots (maybe) and sometimes the very conflicted feeling one can sometimes have towards make-up as a woman and feminist.

So this is going to be a new Wednesday column when the Oily Girl aka me, dishes on make-up!
